SUPER Stedfast United won the Middlesex County League Division Three (Hounslow & District) title with 19 goals in two games - and all without top scorers Matthew Woods.

Lee Harper and Andy Humphreys took over the goal-scoring mantle in last Wednesday's 12-3 thrashing of Hanworth, scoring four each.

One of man-of-the-match Harper's efforts was a Beckham-esque shot from the halfway line which sailed over the Hanworth keeper's head.

Ashley Wright also netted twice, while Darren Crawley and Joel Christie completed the rout. Much of the ammo came from Dave Hayes' crosses, while Danny Woods was excellent in defence. Stedfast followed that up with a 7-1 win over Barnhills on Saturday, with star man Wright this time bagging four goals.

Harper added two more to his tally, while Jamie Montero was also on target.
