HAYES & DISTRICT U11 - LGE CUP, QRTR FINAL SHEPHERD'S BUSH UTD.2 Isleworth Colts....................1

KEEPER Louis Canovali climbed off his sick bed to ease Shepherd's Bush United into the semi-final on Sunday.

His mum didn't reckon he would make it to the match, but heroically Louis pulled on his shirt and gloves - and made coach Jon Coke mighty thankful that he did.

With minutes left and Bush leading 1-0, their keeper dived spectacularly with a one-handed save to keep Isleworth Colts at bay and make sure his team remain on course for a set of medals.

Before that, winger Charlie Caine cut in from the wing in the first half to rifle home a shot after a well-worked Bush move.

* AT THE same time coach Coke was helping to steer Kingstonian to another three points in Ryman Division One South with a 4-2 home win over Walton Casuals.

Ks were 2-0 down at the break but rallied with four second-half goals in 19 minutes.

They remain top.
