QPR go in at the break 1-0 up against Sheffield Wednesday.

As the Hoops control the game, the Hillsborough faithful appear to be getting more and more disgruntled, but the lead is thoroughly deserved.

But who has been QPR's top performers in the first half?

Three stars - Jamie Mackie

The front man just hasn't stopped running. Being rested midweek seems to have done him good as he has once again led by example and given the defenders no time on the ball. He did extremely well with his goal as well, sliding the ball coolly under Kieren Westwood in goal.

Two stars - Josh Scowen

The former Barnsley man has given an all-round great performance. His main role has been breaking up play and being disciplined which he has done well, but he's also been key in freeing Luke Freeman and Massimo Luongo on the counter attack, which has been instumental to QPR's gameplan.

One star - Luke Freeman

The man who has turned defence into attack so effortlessly. It's been a regular sight to see him pick up the ball from Scowen, turn and then run directly at thr Sheffield Wednesday defence. It was exactly this pattern which led to Freeman's assist for Mackie's goal.
