Fulham chairman Shahid Khan has vowed to bring the good times back to Craven Cottage next season after a disastrous campaign.

The billionaire, who also owns NFL franchise Jacksonville Jaguars, took over the west London outfit when he purchased the club outright from Mohamed Al Fayed in July 2013.

Fulham have gone from a Premier League side to Championship battlers since then though and Friday’s draw with Wigan leaves them with 45 points from 42 games this term.

Having sacked Felix Magath in September, the Whites have continued to struggle under his replacement Kit Symons.

Position under scrutiny: Fulham manager Kit Symons

Symons was subjected to chants of “You don’t know what you’re doing” by three sides of the ground last week and speculation is mounting over the future of the boss.

Brentford manager Mark Warburton, who is set to leave Griffin Park this summer despite an excellent season, has been linked with the job. West Ham’s Sam Allardyce is also reportedly in the frame.

Khan admits Fulham have encountered stormier waters than he had imagined in 2014-15 but remains committed to steadying the ship as the club announced a reduction in next season’s ticket prices.

He said: “To begin, I want to express my sincere appreciation for your faithful backing of Fulham Football Club.

Replacement? Brentford manager Mark Warburton

“We are about to conclude a season in the Sky Bet Championship that, unfortunately, posed more challenges than we had anticipated.

“Nevertheless, home or away, you were there for the Whites. There are no better supporters in football!

“Now, it’s time to look ahead.

“Over the summer months, we will strive to build a team capable of challenging for top honours while delivering you and your fellow supporters a brand of football that will make your trips to Craven Cottage memorable and rewarding.

“Our commitment to raising our game is uncompromising at every level of the club, and we’re eager to turn the page.”

Fulham have confirmed all adult season ticket prices will be reduced by 15 per cent for 2015-16, while junior season tickets have been slashed to half price.

The age bands for junior supporters and young persons have been increased from under 16 to under 17, and 17 to 21-year-olds respectively.
