Adebayo Akinfenwa may have a lot of nicknames, varying from The Beast and the world’s strongest footballer to less flattering comments from opposition fans, but there is a softer side to the AFC Wimbledon striker.

The 34-year-old is a family man and has five children, or mini Beasts as he affectionately describes them.

And when he takes his daughter to ballet lessons, he gets involved as well, although the idea of seeing The Beast in a tutu is not for the faint hearted.

Akinfenwa, himself, admits he's not the best at it but reveals why he's such a positive person in the video above.

He explained in the video above: “People don't know this but when I take my little girl to ballet classes I do some ballet with her.

“I'm still beastly and I do some ballet but it's not the greatest. I'm not the most flexible person.

“I try and approach everything in the same way. I'm blessed to get up in the morning and to get the attention I get.

“I try to smile as much as possible in life and focus on the positives. But, fun fact; The Beast does ballet some times.”

The Beast has also had talks regarding moving into wrestling and he will embrace the opportunity should it arise.

He added: “I had a phone call from them saying they wanted to sit down. Watch this space. Who knows what could happen.

“I'm concentrating on building the BMO franchise and the mentoring. We've got the clothing, academy and the app. Watch this space. I embrace any opportunity so we'll see what happens.”
