New Chelsea signing Mohamed Salah will have to wait to make his Chelsea debut as he is yet to arrive in England ahead of tonight’s visit of West Ham.

The Blues confirmed a deal had been struck for the Egyptian winger on Sunday but manager Jose Mourinho was is still waiting to greet the player yesterday.

Salah could arrive in the country and take his place in the stands at Stamford Bridge tonight, however he will play no part against the Premier League strugglers.

Demba Ba is in line to start against his old club as Fernando Torres has been ruled out for a further two weeks with knee ligament damage.

West Ham could give debuts to new Italian loanees Antonio Nocerino and Marco Borriello and Sam Allardyce is boosted by the return of Kevin Nolan from suspension.

Joe Cole, who played under Mourinho during his first spell as Chelsea manager, will not feature against his old club as he struggles with a groin problem.

The Blues have won 12 and lost just one of their last 15 Premier League matches against West Ham and Allardyce has only picked up two points from seven meetings with Mourinho.
