Brentford were forced into making two substitutions through injury in the 2-0 win over Leeds United.
Nico Yennaris was replaced by Alan McCormack midway through the second half and the former Arsenal man hobbled off.
The reason for the substitution was that the midfielder had suffered a dead hip and the injury will put his participation at Cardiff in doubt.
Yennaris has also been battling a long-running calf injury that has been managed by Brentford's medical team.
Ryan Woods' night also ended early with the Ginger Pirlo being replaced by Konstantin Kerschbaumer in the closing stages.
The midfielder had taken a blow to the leg against Bristol City and then, unfortunately, took a blow in the exact same position against Leeds.
It was only the second time this season that Woods has not completed the 90 minutes in a game he has started; the other coming in the 5-0 defeat to Norwich City in December.
