BRYAN Ruiz has set his sights on a top-10 finish after Fulham recorded an impressive win at Spurs on Sunday.

Dimitar Berbatov's second-half strike proved the difference to move the Whites up to 10 th , with a game in hand on most of their rivals.

And Ruiz reckons a top-half finish will be a good season for Martin Jol's men after their mid-season dip.

He said: “After this victory we're looking for a top-10 place.

“We were thinking that from the beginning, had a bad period but now we're back in business and will try and finish in the top 10.

“We believe in ourselves. We've been playing good for a while and sometimes we haven't got the points we deserve.

“I think we changed our mentality and are playing with confidence. We're working hard on the field, defending well and have quality up front also.”

Berbatov grabbed the headlines after coming back to haunt his old employers, but Fulham put in an all-round solid display to earn the points at White Hart Lane.

“It's good to play with him but it's about team work,” Ruiz added.

“We showed that [against Spurs] and defended very good. It's not his best quality to defend so I think all 14 players who played did a great defensive job. We can use the quality that Berbatov has.

“I think people talk a lot about Berbatov. We agree that he's a good player but it's team work, Berbatov knows that. He's doing good but all the team is doing good.”
