ON-loan Chelsea midfielder George Saville missed Brentford's home defeat to Leyton Orient with a hip problem.
The Blues youngster was due to feature in the London derby at Griffin Park before being forced to withdraw late on through injury.
“He came to us this morning and reported he was having a problem with his hip flexor [muscle],” said Bees boss Uwe Rosler afterwards.
“It was serious enough that he was not able to play.”
Brentford will check on the 20-year-old ahead of Sunday's trip to Coventry City.
