Andy Scott sees Rochdale as the perfect model of what he's trying to achieve at Brentford.

Keith Hill's men inflicted a second defeat in five days on the Bees with a 2-1 in at Griffin Park on Saturday.

It meant Brentford have slipped from second to ninth in League Two in the space of a week.

And Scott looked no further than his side's conquerors for inspiration on how they can get back there.

He said: "We showed in the second-half that we can be a good side, but it is about consistency.

"Rochdale have been together for two years now, and you can see that they are a solid team who have good players who are organised and understand each others' game.

"That's the sort of recipe we are looking for. We've been riding the crest of a wave recently and we've had a little dip in form, but we know we're capable of playing well and being solid and we've got to make sure we get back to doing that."
