HARRY Redknapp accused his players of throwing in the towel during this afternoon's 2-0 defeat at Everton.

Goals from Darron Gibson and Victor Anichebe saw Rangers slump to another defeat and send them closer to the drop.

"It is not getting any easier, and this is a tough place to come," Redknapp said.

"We were unlucky to come in 1-0 down at the break, but we didn't start the second half well.

"It was as though the belief drained out of us after the goal."

Rangers remain seven points adrift of safety, but Redknapp is not giving up hope.

He added: "We have got to keep going, keep believing.

"It is going to be hard, and we probably need to win four out of five games, but all you can do is keep trying."
