READING have completed the loan signing of QPR defender Matthew Connolly .
The 24-year-old has been restricted to just seven appearances for Rangers this season, and hasn't featured under new boss Mark Hughes.
Connolly has fallen further down the pecking order after the arrival of Nedum Onuoha from Manchester City, and Hughes has given him the green light to join the Royals until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Blackburn Rover are closing in on the signing of right-back Bradley Orr .
The 29-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements at Loftus Road, and is undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Ewood Park.
