Fulham are making only their third ever appearance in the play-offs this weekend.

The end of season fixtures have not been kind to the Cottagers, with Fulham one of only eight teams to have played in them to have never won a game.

Slavisa Jokanovic's men will be hoping past results bear no impact on Saturday and Tuesday when they take on Reading for the right to walk out at Wembley for the showpiece event on Bank Holiday Monday, May 29.

The last time Fulham were in the play-offs there was no Championship, League One and League Two, it was the Second Division.

Whites, recently backed by Mohamed Al Fayed, had finished sixth and took on Grimsby Town in the two-legged semi-final.

After a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage, Fulham slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Blundell Park to suffer play-off heartbreak at the semi-final stage for the second time, having been beaten at the same stage in 1989.

But what do you remember of those two games? Sixteen players took to the field during those two legs against Grimsby in 1998. Can you name them?
