Queens Park Rangers lost 2-1 against Championship play-off hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday on Easter Monday.

Digital Football Writer for Get West London, Mark Ritson, was at Loftus Road to give his player ratings after the game.

Smithies - No chance saving Reach's bullet of a strike for the opener. Great save to deny Rhodes and unlucky to concede follow-up. Second half, didn't have much to do. 6

Petrasso - Didn't really get involved too much in the first half and was taken off at the break, with James Perch moving to his more familiar right-back role. 5

Perch - Deemed to be at fault for first goal, but the ball did fall kindly for Reach to score. Moved to right-back at the start of the second half and the centre-back. Superb block to deny Forestieri scoring a third. 7

Lynch - Seemed to be the main man in the whole of the defence, it was a makeshift back four from start to finish. Was fairly solid up against Rhodes. 7

Bidwell - Fairly solid first half, moved to centre-back in the second period and wasted a big chance early on. 6

Freeman - Flair on the ball, always looking for a pass and keeps it well. Maybe just need a bit more from him. 7

Luongo - The skipper started off brightly but faded as the game went on. Didn't lose that energy, but needed a bit creativity. 6

Robinson - Quiet first half, although his long throw nearly created an equaliser at the end of the period. Went to left-back in the second half before he was take off. 5

Manning - He'll be disappointed with his first half display, expect much more from him. Ended up at left-back in the second half and replaced by Smith. 5

Mackie - Did OK. Nothing amazing but was all right. Played the link man for much of it but will be disappointed not to have any major chances. Ended up at right-back for final 15 minutes. 6

Sylla - Credit to him for taking advantage of Wednesday's lapse in concentration for the equaliser. Kept going in the second period with the service he got. 6

Substitutes

Lua Lua - Came on at the break and went to the left side. Looked lively at the start but ended up looking lost. Was once one of the best players in the Championship. 5

Washington - Always lively and a pest, but there wasn't any of that when he came on initially. 5

Smith - Spear-headed a three-man attack with Washington and Sylla for the final minutes. Looked to put himself about but couldn't help side. 5
