QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo has spoken at his hunger of reaching the World Cup finals as he prepares to face Honduras in the play-off second leg tomorrow morning (9am BST kick-off).

The 25-year-old was an unused member of the Socceroos squad for the World Cup in Germany in 2014, and Luongo is hoping that victory against Honduras can see him achieve his dream of competing in the showpiece event.

Speaking to GetWestLondon, Luongo said: "The first time that I went (to the World Cup) I didn't feel like I deserved to be there.

"I hadn't played in any of the qualifying campaign and there was a few injuries that got me into a squad which I probably wouldn't have got into if they weren't there.

"I'd only played once before that, so this time will probably feel like my first time again if we made it, because I've been there the whole time, I've been to all the countries and played in all the hardest games so I feel like I've been there for the whole journey and it'll feel like my first World Cup."
