Ryan Manning says if Queens Park Rangers can get a couple of wins under their belt against Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday, it will set them up nicely for the local derby with Brentford next weekend.

The Hoops midfielder is set to travel to Bristol for the Good Friday clash at Ashton Gate and hopes to help his team-mates produce some momentum.

QPR have lost their last three games by the odd goal and have certainly got many positives from the previous couple of matches against Aston Villa and Brighton in particular.

Ryan Manning hopes to get a result at Bristol City to build some momentum

And Manning insists the squad are "in a good place" as they look to halt their recent form in the last two weeks.

"We'll get Bristol City game done with before thinking about Sheffield Wednesday, but if we can pick up a result it will give us that momentum for next week against them," he told Get West London.

"It is huge in football, especially in the Championship. When you get a couple of results together, there is belief there you can beat teams.

"Now it's about stopping the losing streak we're on from the last three games, then anything is possible.

"Anything is possible in the Championship, but we're definitely in a good place and we're looking forward to the next week."
