QPR will assess an injury to keeper Julio Cesar after he limped out of this afternoon's win at Southampton.

The Brazilian, who was at fault for Gaston Ramirez's equaliser before Jay Bothroyd struck a late winner, was forced off with a dead leg 16 minutes from the end after being clattered into by Jay Rodriguez.

His replacement, Rob Green , pulled off a stunning save from Maya Yoshida's goal-bound header to help earn Rangers only their third win of the season and keep their survival hopes alive.

Boss Harry Redknapp was full of praise for the former England keeper afterwards.

He said: "Rob came off the bench stone-cold and made a world class save, so a lot of credit goes to him."
