Luke Freeman's fine form in March has led to him being nominated as the SkyBet Championship's player of the month for March.

The 25-year-old joined QPR from Bristol City in January and his form last month, in particular his passing precision, led to him being noticed by the judging panel of Don Goodman, Olaf Dixon and Paul Lowery.

Freeman was also on the scoresheet in March, notching one in the 5-1 win over Rotherham.

Freeman rivals Preston striker Tom Barkhuizen, who scored five goals and added an assist, including a special strike against Reading.

Aden Flint inspired a Bristol City renaissance last month, which seems to have faded after two defeats in early April with his goals agianst Wigan and Huddersfield earning plaudits.

Leeds frontman Chris Wood is also up for the gong. The New Zealander scored four of Leeds' six goals last month including a fine strike against Birmingham and a cruical one against Brighton.
