FITZ Hall has revealed an amazing pre-match ritual where he deliberately makes himself sick.

The QPR centre back is hoping to get a recall for Sunday’s massive clash with Manchester United after injury to Anton Ferdinand at Liverpool last Saturday – and is hoping he might feature in plans beyond that.

The 30-year-old has struggled with hamstring injuries this season, and was down and out after just nine minutes in the 3-1 defeat to Spurs in October.

But he is now looking for a recall to this one, as well as giving the likes of Ferdinand, Danny Gabbidon and anyone else in the future a run for their money.

That is after he has pebble-dashed the inside of a toilet bowl prior to kick-off.

“I like to be sick before a game,” he said. “I do not feel right unless I am sick. It is nothing major I just have a drink and sick it back up that is all.

“As for new players, this is the business we’re in.

“I got bought to take someone’s job and I had competition to get into the team so I am sure whoever comes in January will have a tough time getting past me and the rest of the defenders.

“I am back to full fitness now after the problems with my hamstring and I am making a strong comeback. There is a lot of competition in the team so I am not going to get straight back into the starting line up but I am going to fight for my place all the way.”
