QPR full back Jake Bidwell has cited Brighton's Anthony Knockaert as one of the best players in the Championship.
Rangers face the Seagulls on Friday and the full back knows he's in for a tough evening against one of the premier players in the second tier.
Bidwell's last two games against Brighton have both come at the Amex Stadium and both ended in a 3-0 defeat; with QPR on December 27 and with Brentford last February.
And he will be trying to end that run but he knows how good a winger he will have to deal with.
When asked about the best opponents he's faced this season, Bidwell said: “The ones that spring to mind are the Knockaerts with the amount of goals and assists.
“He's the one that springs to mind straightaway. I'd say he's the standout and it looks as if he's going to help Brighton to get into the Premier League.”
Bidwell has a rival for the left back spot in Jack Robinson with Ian Holloway likely to ring the changes again after Tuesday's 1-0 loss to Aston Villa; QPR's second successive one goal reverse after last Friday's defeat to Derby.
The full back added: “I've known Jack a long time. We played against each other as well as in the England youth setup.
“We've got a lot in common coming from a similar part of the world. I don't want to see anyone suffer the injuries he's had. It's good to see him back on the field but I want to stay in the team.”
