QPR are set to include new signings Leroy Fer and Mauricio Isla in the squad to face Tottenham on Sunday.

Chilean World Cup star Isla has received a work permit that excluded him from the opening day defeat to Hull, and should replace Danny Simpson at right wing-back.

Dutch international Fer has signed on the Rs dotted line for £8million on a three-year deal and has already settled into the training camp.

Boss Harry Redknapp said: “Leroy’s available and he trained Wednesday and looked good.”

However, the former Norwich player might have to wait his chance coming off the bench, with Joey Barton, Jordon Mutch and Ale Faurlin set to retain their places.

The game comes too early for new striker Eduardo Vargas, yet to get his permit, although Redknapp is looking forward to him making an appearance at home to Sunderland next week.

However, there is no go for Tottenham’s Michael Dawson or former Rs loanee Andros Townsend in exchange for Loic Remy, according to Redknapp.

“We haven’t discussed that possibility, because we really want to keep Loic.”

The manager also downplayed a loan deal for Wilfried Zaha at Manchester United - at least for the time being.

“If he did become available he would certainly be of interest,” he said.
