QPR defender Peter Ramage has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The former Newcastle right-back got crocked in Saturday's win against Middlesbrough , and was sent for a scan to assess the damage.
And Rangers boss Neil Warnock confirmed the worst last night that Ramage had suffered cruciate ligament damage which could rule him out for up to nine months.
Warnock said: "I feel so sorry for him – he's an important part of the squad.
"It's disappointing for the lad. He's distraught but he'll bounce back."
