QPR lost for the first time in five games - and in truth they deserved it.

This wasn't a Rangers performance to right home about. Conor Washington scored just past the hour to make it into a contest - but two Burton strikes before it boosted a side in Championship trouble.

Here's what we thought of the players with marks out of 10.

Alex Smithies 7: Not a lot to do, but one excellent stop from Lloyd Dyer to keep Hoops in the game.

Jake Bidwell 7: Solid as ever, but not able to get forward as he wanted.

Grant Hall 6: Did nothing wrong, but Rangers needed an extra attacker at half-time - that and he was injured. Subbed 45 minutes

Joel Lynch 6: Conceded a couple of fouls that gave Burton respite when they needed it most. Steady enough, for all that.

Pawel Wszolek 6: Powerful again down the right, but not as powerful as recent games.

Michael Doughty 6: OK, but rarely able to get into the game long enough to make a telling impact. Subbed 74 minutes.

Taking aim: Michael Doughty

Kazenga LuaLua 8: Looked the business down the left, but no one on the end of his telling crosses.

Darnell Furlong 6: Spirited performance, but went awol for the second Burton goal.

Idrissa Sylla 5: Do you get handed luck or make your own? If it's the latter, the striker needs to be way more effective in the box. But he was carrying a knock.

Chase: Pawel Wzsolek (L) against Burton

Subs:

Matt Ingram n/a

Conor Washington 7: Not on long enough, A great goal, and would surely have produced more had he been on from the start.

Jamie Mackie n/a : only on for three minutes

James Perch n/a

Mide Shodipo n/a

Ebere Eze n/a

Ryan Manning 6: Did well when he came on after 72 minutes, but had little time to make an impact
