QPR are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur right-back Adam Smith .

Hoops boss Harry Redknapp is a big fan of the 22-year-old, who spent most of the season on loan at Millwall.

Smith has made just two senior appearances for Spurs, gaining first-team experience elsewhere with Wycombe, Torquay, MK Dons, Bournemouth and Leeds United.

However, the youngster still has three years to run on his contract at White Hart Lane, and is hoping to force his way into Andre Villas-Boas' plans during pre-season.

But Redknapp is ready to pounce if Smith doesn't figure in north London, and reckons the Spurs academy graduate could be the answer to Rangers' right-back problems, with Jose Bosingwa surplus to requirements at Loftus Road.
