CHIEF executive Phil Beard admits QPR are willing to listen to offers for star striker Loic Remy .

The French frontman scored six goals in 14 games since his January arrival from Marseille, but was unable to keep the club in the Premier League.

Newcastle United have reignited their interest in the 26-year-old after missing out on his signature earlier this year.

Rangers boss Harry Redknapp is keen to keep the forward at Loftus Road, but Beard says the club are open to offers as they try to slash the wage bill.

He said: “It’s realistic that everybody with a contract will stay. If clubs come in and it’s the right deal for QPR and the player, we’ll talk about them going somewhere else.

“Loic Remy is like everyone with a contract. He’s a great character, and if we have him playing for us in the Championship he’ll score you a lot of goals, but if something happens we’ll look at it.”
