QPR will be without two of their new players when they face Birmingham tomorrow (Saturday).
Boss Harry Redknapp insists he will have to wait before blooding a pair of his latest acquisitions.
Defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto and midfielder Niko Kranjcar are set to sit out against the Blues, while striker Andrew Johnson also misses out with a knee injury.
However, Tom Carroll looks likely to get a first start after a loan move from Spurs, and winger Matty Phillips will be added to the subs list.
The manager explained: “Niko’s got a bit of muscle and groin injury, and he might make it for Yeovil next week.
“Matty Phillips is a bit short of fitness, so we’ll put him on the bench and maybe give him 20 minutes at the end.
“Benoit hasn’t played a single game this season and he’s a bit short of fitness, so we need to give him a bit more time.”
