QPR will face Manchester United without Armand Traore who has a toe injury.

The good news is that another left-back option Yun Suk-Young is nearing recovery from an ankle injury and has been pencilled in for a return against Stoke, along with midfielder Sando, on January 31.

Clint Hill looks set to continue on the left side of defence, and his manager explained the veteran’s spat with fans at the end of the 2-1 defeat to Burnley last week.

Rs boss Harry Redknapp said: “Clint was unhappy with the language being used with a young boy there.”

Facing the boot? Harry Redknapp

Reports claim Redknapp faces the sack if he fails to get a result against Louis Van Gaal’s outfit, but the Rs manager insists he’s got no wind of an impending boot from his boss.

“I could have picked an easier one that Man U (to save my job)” he joked. “Look, I’ve had a great time here, and look, if f they decide otherwise there’s nothing I can do about it.

“But I’ve been speaking to Tony (chairman, Fernandes) all week - and he’s not mentioned anything about that (the sack).

However, surprise inclusion at Burnley last week, Adel Taarabt, has further impressed his manager.
Harry added: “He did well last week, and he’s trained well this week and back in the squad for the United game.”
