ESTEBAN Granero has no idea whether he is staying at QPR.

This morning, Harry Redknapp is meeting Tony Fernandes at 11am to discuss the squad needed for an immediate return to the Premier League.

Boss and chairman plan to steer a fair few to the exit after costing Rangers their Premier League place at Reading yesterday and the big money that goes with a top-flight berth.

Granero’s estranged team-mate Joey Barton on loan at Marseille tweeted after the game his graphic criticism of players brought in by former manager Mark Hughes – the Spaniard from Real Madrid being one of them, but the midfielder (pic) insisted his fate lies in the hands of those above him.

“It depends on the club not me,” said Granero. “I signed my contract for four years and I wasn’t thinking about going to the Championship, but that’s the reality and the club now has to decide. I don’t decide about these types of things.

“The fans have backed us from the beginning to the game against Reading, but it’s been difficult for them and us.

“I need to finish the season properly for the club and the fans – and the rest is in the future.”
