QPR star Massimo Luongo has hailed his midfield partnership with team-mates Josh Scowen and Luke Freeman.

The addition of former-Barnsley man Josh Scowen over the summer has added a real balance to the engine room, and the Australian international says that his addition has allowed Freeman and himself to play their natural game.

Speaking to GetWestLondon about Scowen's impact, he said: "It's been massive, Scowen has made a massive contribution this year. We've never really had that, I'll say sitting midfielder but he goes everywhere and I can fill in his position like he does with me.

"Our partnership is really good and we just sort of fit in really well because he's naturally going to sit just off me and Freesy (Luke Freeman) is going to have that free role and slopes around a lot, and it's up to me and Josh to adjust the formation based on where Freesy goes.

"Luke's strength isn't just to get in amongst it and battle, although he can do it when called upon, that's what me and Scowen are in there for.

"We've all just clicked and we compliment each other really well."
