Karl Henry is adamant QPR deserved to get revenge at Fulham on Saturday after last season's misery.

Whites won 4-0 a year ago, and this time the hosts missed two penalties, two open goals, hit the frame, battered the life out of Rs keeper Alex Smithies and the defence in front of them, only to fall prey to the sucker punch that was Idrissa Sylla's diving header three minutes from the end.

Before that, Tim Ream cancelled out Rs early lead and Conor Washington's debut Championship goal for Hoops.

The late winner was payback time for recent hiccups as well as that 2015-16 caning, according to Henry.

"The last two games, home and away against Fulham, they pulled our pants down, and this game was about getting a result," he added.

"It's swings and roundabouts. When we played Barnsley away, we should not have lost.

"Yet in this game we deserved to win.

Winner: Idrissa Sylla dives to head home

"The two penalty decisions were contentious - the second I’m not sure it was a penalty.

"They might be gutted to not put away their chances, but it was a old performance from us, and we look forward to playing them at ours."
