QPR boss Harry Redknapp insists Stoke are going to have to pay top dollar to lure Junior Hoilett away.

The Rs midfielder has had a great start to the Championship season, and is apparently catching the eye of former Hoops boss Mark Hughes at the The Britannia.

But Redknapp reckons it will cost Sparky to sign the Canadian international for the third time, with Hoilett rated around £2million.

He said: “If Mark wants him he or someone else has to make a big offer.”

But of all the players the manager let go this summer – Esteban Granero was way down the list but acceded the midfielder’s wishes to return to Spain.

Granero has gone to Real Sociedad on a season-long loan, just a year after he joined from Real Madrid, but Harry was a reluctant to see him leave.

“He was in the team, so that shows I wanted to keep him,” said the manager. “I’m sorry to see Esteban go, and he wasn’t one I wanted to see the back of, but I wish him well.”
