QPR make five changes from Middlesbrough defeat, with long-term absentee Joel Lynch a surprise inclusion in match-day squad to face Burton Albion

QPR welcome back Josh Scowen and Conor Washington into the starting line-up as they prepare to face Burton Albion.

The pair missed last week's 3-2 defeat against Middlesbrough through injury, but have been deemed fit for the clash with the Brewers.

Scowen and Washington's reintroduction comes at a cost for Ryan Manning and Matt Smith, both of whom can count themselves unfortunate to miss out this afternoon.

Elshere, Yeni Ngbakoto comes into the starting XI for his first league start of the season, replacing Massimo Luongo who misses the game through illness.

In other big news, Joel Lynch returns to the bench after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, while Steven Caulker also comes back into the first team fold.
