QPR plan to give Newcastle a run for their money on Sunday – but Rs boss Harry Redknapp doesn’t think the result will affect either side very much.

Hoops are already down and planning for next season, while the Rangers coach is pretty sure the Magpies will be safe come the end of the campaign.

The 3-2 defeat to Wigan on Tuesday by Swansea looks to have sunk the FA Cup finalists along with Rs and Reading, according to Harry, and left Newcastle breathing easy.

“We don’t want to be rolling over for anybody, even though we’ve done that a few times recently,” said Redknapp (pic).

“But I think Newcastle will be safe, even though they’ve been sucked into it. They over achieved last year, and under achieved this year, and clearly injuries have affected them.

“I saw Wigan getting out of it until the other night. Now, it’s going to be tough for them.”
