QPR will be without three midfielders for the visit of Huddersfield tomorrow.

Boss Harry Redknapp revealed not only has Joey Barton failed to recover from a thigh strain sustained in the 3-1 win over Ipswich last week, but Yossi Benayoun pulled up lame with a groin strain in training yesterday.

Coupled with an injury to Jermaine Jenas, the manager has added forgotten man Samba Diakite to the squad to face the Terriers.

He said: "It's an area we're a bit short in, and Samba is back in the squad. He played in a reserve match earlier in the week and did well."

QPR were linked with a move for striker Nahki Wells who joined Huddersfield this week, and Mark Robins forward line was further strengthened when they nabbed Joe Lolley from FA Cup giant-killers Kidderminster.

Redknapp added: "Wells is a good player, and the lad from Kidderminster looks a good bet as well."
