This is just about everything you probably want to know on Jordan Cousins - QPR's newest star who swapped the red of Charlton for the hoops of west London last night.

  • QPR have got a bargain. Charlton wanted £3m - they got something around £1.2m that brings Hoops spending up to the £4m mark on four new faces.

  • Cousins wore the number eight shirt at Charlton. That already belongs to Tjaronn Chery. Rock, scissors or stone to decide who gets it next term?
  • Fulham have reason to remember him well. He scored an injury time equaliser in the London derby against Whites in the 2-2 draw at The Valley last season.

Here it is.

Pain in the Rs: Jordan Cousins scores against Hoops last season
  • He won the League One award for apprentice of the year in 2012 following their promotion to the Championship.

  • Cousins made his professional debut on August 6th 2013 in a 4-0 win over Oxford United in the League Cup.
  • He then scored in his league debut in a 2-2 draw against Barnsley.
  • This lead to a new three year contract signed on October 4, 2013, extended to 2019 at the end of last season.
  • Cousins is almost certain to be deployed in central midfield, but can play on the left or the right.
  • The right-footed player has been named player of the year two years in a row by Charlton fans and the fifth consecutive academy graduate to win the award. The Addicks must be doing something right on the youth front, even if other aspects of a troubled club has brought the current plight.
