After a few decent results to start the new season, QPR fans are JUST starting to feel better about what was a horrendous campaign for the west London side.
A season which was disappointing from start to finish, came to a head on the final day of the season when they were crushed 4-0 by Norwich City, in a match where the Hoops looked like they were already visualising a summer trip to the beach, complete with Pina Colada.
Every team winds down when they have little to play for, but with QPR sitting perilously close to the drop zone, the fans had every right to be annoyed at how the season came to a close.
After a summer of stewing, and following two wins and a draw in their opening three matches, now appears to be the time for the Hoops’ squad to put the ghost of Carrow Road to bed once and for all.
The feel-good factor is in full flow at Loftus Road, and with many members of last season’s squad still in Ian Holloway’s ranks, there will be no excuses for not giving their all this evening to try and make amends to the travelling fans.
