QPR are confident Niko Kranjcar will be fit for next week's play-off final against Derby County.

The Croatian star suffered a hamstring injury in Monday night's semi-final win against Wigan and was forced to play through the pain barrier after Harry Redknapp made all three subs.

The Loftus Road chief admitted afterwards that Kranjcar was a doubt for the Wembley showdown on May 24.

However, Kranjcar has responded well to treatment over the past 24 hours and should be ready in time to face Steve McClaren's side.

The 29-year-old was handed another boost this morning when he was selected for Croatia's provisional 30-man World Cup squad.
