Clint Hill played 60 minutes as QPR under-23s ran out with a 5-0 victory against Bolton Wanderers at Harlington.

Aramide Oteh (2), Daniel Rowe and Chay Tilt (2) were all on the score-sheet as the Hoops continued their 100% record this term.

Hill looked impressive against the Trotters, leading by example and making several crucial interceptions while he was on the field, including an excellent double block moments before he was taken off on the hour.

QPR confirmed earlier today that the 38-year-old defender was training with the Hoops earlier today, something that was confirmed by Carlisle United manager Keith Curle.

Curle, who had been linked with a move for Hill, told the Carlisle News & Star: "He's been invited in at a Championship club to go and train.

"It's a case of finding out whether the deal suits Clint in terms of the role he has, how they see him progressing in the immediate future, and in terms of lifestyle - where the club is.

"I've had good conversations with Clint and I'm going to make contact again after the weekend.

"If a player of his calibre has the opportunity to go and be involved at a Championship club, he's got to go and look at it."

Hill was part of a strong line-up for the under-23s clash, which included the likes of Sean Goss, Ariel Bosysiuk, Ilias Chair and Michael Petrasso.

Bolton also had a big name in the team, with former Arsenal and Real Madrid man Julio Baptista lining up for them.
