Kevin Bond admits QPR were made to pay for not taking their chances after being held to a goalless draw with Blackburn.

Matt Phillips and Charlie Austin missed sitters as Rangers fired a blank against a Rovers side who have struggled on their travels this season.

Bond, who also confirmed a deal has been agreed with Yossi Benayoun, said: "It was a frustrating day.

"The longer the game went on they were content on putting men behind the ball to frustrate us, and they did.

"We had a couple of really good chances with Matt Phillips and Charlie Austin - it's a completely different game if you get your noses in front because they have got to come out.

"We struggled to break them down. In the end it comes down to taking your chances, but we didn't take them.

"But it was another clean sheet and we kept the points ticking over."
