QPR midfielder Ali Faurlin is locked in talks with the club over a new deal but admits he's unsure over his future.

The Argentine ace is back in full training after a long spell on the sidelines with a serious knee injury - his second in as many years.

However, the 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer and admits his position at the club is up in the air.

"It's an uncertain future [for me]," the QPR fan favourite told London Call-In . "It's a little bit in the air.

"We are talking with the club and they have expressed that they want me to be here next season.

"Obviously, we are waiting for everything to finish and we'll go from there. It's not just me, a lot of the lads are in the same situation.

"I have been here long enough and I feel at home. Having had these injuries, I just hope to be fit and be able to play and have no more problems.

"We'll see what happens. It would be really nice for me to stay at Loftus Road."
