QPR are ready to offer a new deal to midfielder Ali Faurlin.

The Argentine ace is one of a long list of players whose contracts at Loftus Road expire this summer.

Boss Harry Redknapp is due to meet with owner Tony Fernandes and chief executive Phil Beard shortly to discuss his squad for next season.

Faurlin, who returned to full training earlier this month after a spell out with a serious knee injury, is keen to extend his five-year stay in W12.

And Redknapp is set to hand the QPR fan favourite fresh terms to keep him at Loftus Road following promotion to the Premier League.

Faurlin has made 130 appearances for the club since his switch to west London in 2009.
