Idrissa Sylla has not been named in Ian Holloway's 26-man squad for QPR's tour of Germany this weekend.
The Guinean striker has been linked with a move away from Loftus Road this summer, and his omission from the squad led to speculation that he would soon be departing the club.
But the Hoops have explained that his omission from the tour has nothing to do with an impending move away, but because his work permit has run out!
In a statement, QPR said: "Idrissa Sylla is unable to travel as his previous work permit expired within three months of the club's travel date. While he does have a new work permit in place, the expiry of his replaced permit prevents from from travelling."
Grant Hall, who missed the friendly with Peterborough United, was also left out of the squad as he is still recovering from a tendonitis injury.
QPR face FC Union Berlin tomorrow and Lokomotive Leipzig on Sunday.
