ANDROS Townsend and Adel Taarabt have been ruled out of QPR's visit to Reading at the weekend.

Rangers go to the Madejski for what could be the last match before confirmed relegation without the attacking duo – both ruled out after picking up injuries in the 2-0 home defeat by Stoke last week.

“Andros has gone back to Tottenham for treatment,” said boss Harry Redknapp.

“It was part of the deal if he got injured, but we hope he will be available for Arsenal next week.

“Taarabt’s got a bit of shoulder injury.”

Rangers will also be missing Bobby Zamora (suspended), Andy Johnson (injury) and Shaun Wright-Phillips (ankle).
