QPR defender leaves on loan

TAL Ben Haim has joined Major League Soccer side Toronto on loan until the end of June.

TAL Ben Haim has joined Major League Soccer side Toronto on loan until the end of June.

The Israel defender has made just six appearances for QPR since signing a short-term deal in January.

Ben Haim started in Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Arsenal, but boss Harry Redknapp has given the green light for the 31-year-old to move to Canada and Toronto, who are managed by former Ranger Ryan Nelsen .

Ben Haim also joins QPR midfielder Hogan Ephraim at the MLS franchise.
