GOALS from Adel Taarabt and Damion Stewart helped QPR to their second successive win under new boss Neil Warnock.

Tottenham loan star Taarabt fired the Hoops ahead from the penalty spot before the break, then Stewart wrapped up the points with a close-range header after the interval to pull Rangers clear of the drop zone.

QPR dominated from the off, with Hogan Ephraim and Jay Simpson going close.

But an unmarked Kari Arnason missed a golden chance for Plymouth when he headed over from 10 yards.

The Pilgrims defender then handed QPR the chance to break the deadlock when he hauled down Tamas Priskin in the box.

And Taarabt made no mistake from 12 yards, sending Stockdale the wrong way from the spot to put the hosts ahead.

Stewart missed the chance to double their lead when he headed Kaspars Gorkss' flick-on over from four yards.

But the giant Jamaican made amends four minutes after the interval when he glanced home Taarabt's inswinging free-kick.

Alejandro Faurlin, Taarabt and Simpson came close to adding a third as Rangers cruised to a comfortable win.
