QPR have added two more to their growing injury list ahead of the visit by Blackpool tomorrow.

Joey Barton picked up a thigh strain that saw the midfieder limp off in the last 10 minutes against Wigan on Tuesday night, and Niko Kranjcar, who also departed the action early, has likewise been ruled out.

Add to that Kevin Doyle, returned to Wolves for treatment, Jermaine Jenas, Armand Traore and long-term injuries for Charlie Austin, Matt Phillips, Andy Johnson and Ale Faurlin, and it’s no surprise boss Harry Redknapp is looking to rotate the squad.

He said: “We may have to freshen it up because three games in a week is hard work.

“We’re not a young team, and we’ve got players waiting in the wings like Danny Simpson.

“I’m looking at Bobby (Zamora), whether I start him tomorrow. He was great against Wigan, but I’ll have to look at it because of the last three games.

“Blackpool went to Leicester a couple of weeks ago and were unlucky, and again at Bolton the other night, but they’re scrapping for their lives and it will be a tough game.”
