QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink claimed a second point on the road in four days - but insisted a second-half penalty awarded to Wednesday was a bad decison.

It mattered little to Alex Smithies who saved the spot-kick from Atdhe Nuhiu after Gary Hooper had taken a tumble in the box allegedly felled by Nedum Onuoha.

Hasselbaink said: "I'm very happy. If you come here and you see the way they've been playing here, you know it's going to be difficult.

"They are a very good side and we were under pressure. We were winning 1-0 and then it is a case of can you see it through?

"They played well and they will be disappointed to have not got three points.

"The first one was not a penalty and I didn't see the appeal for a second one properly.

"We need to be able to go to difficult places and come away with points.

"We need to sustain the club in the right way. Of course we want to be in the top six, but you have to be realistic."

Realism came in the form of a lone striker and three changes from the side that carved out a point at Bolton on Saturday, with Daniel Tozser getting off the mark courtesy of a 25-yard hit that deserved to win any game.
