HARRY Redknapp reckons he will be between a rock and a hard place if Julio Cesar is at QPR after Monday night.

The Rs manager is mystified no big club has come in for Brazil’s number one keeper (pic) – although wages hovering at £45,000-a-week plus bonuses might have something to do with it.

Harry is preparing for the worst when he tells Rob Green his current spot is under jeopardy despite reassurances before the season's start the former England international would be his number one.

Redknapp is keeping his fingers crossed someone comes in for the 33-year-old Brazilian and digs him out of a hole and avoids a showdown with a miffed Green.

“This is not a sales pitch – Julio’s one of the world’s best keepers,” the manager said.

“I’ve got Rob, so if I played him (Cesar) and he moves, then I’ve got to go back (to Green) – and that’s why we haven’t involved him.

“We haven’t priced him out of the market, and yeah, he’s available to play now – but it’s difficult.

“There must be clubs out there who want a great goalkeeper.”
