QPR boss Mark Hughes is confident Bobby Zamora will be fit for next weekend's trip to Blackburn.
The former Fulham frontman scored on his debut in this afternoon's defeat to Wolves, but was substituted midway through the second-half with cramp.
However, Hughes insists the decision to withdraw the England international was a precautionary measure.
He said: “Bobby was cramping up. He should be okay.
“He didn’t want to damage himself any further and was correct to say ‘I want to come off’. It was to protect him.”
