MARK Hughes insists there's more to come from new signing Djibril Cisse after he scored on his debut in QPR's draw at Aston Villa.
The former Liverpool frontman – a deadline-day arrival from Lazio – gave Rangers the lead at Villa Park before Stephen Warnock's own goal doubled the visitors' advantage.
However, Darren Bent and Charles N'Zogbia hit back for Villa as honours ended even.
But Hughes was full of praise for Cisse afterwards.
He said: “We were absolutely delighted with the impact Djibril made. I think everybody saw his qualities.
“There's so much more to come from him but he's made a promising start.
“He was tired towards the end and cramping up so I had to take him off. He's had a long few days so we had to protect him.”
